Chimney Mountain, Indian Lake, NY

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to suggest a nice, easy hike in the Indian Lake region of the Adirondacks. There is a great trail system at Chimney Mountain that leads you to its namesake- a really interesting rock formation that you can climb (it's a bit safer to bring a rope!). The trail then leads to caves that you can explore. Eagle Cave is the largest cave in the Adirondacks. Pretty neat stuff :)

Thanks for the heads up hike suggestion. Caves in the Daks, who woulda thunk? Did you explore the caves at all?

The guys explored the caves, the girls hung back. They had to get on their stomachs to squeeze into the first portion, then there were more and more areas like that the further back they went. Definitely didn't want to do that, a bit too tight of a squeeze for me!
