Welcome to the forum! I too have a hard time finding a properly fitting pack with a 21" torso and a 29" waist. I'm usually a size small waist and a size large in my torso measurement. My first pack was the Gregory Z65 and it fits really well, but my new Osprey Atmos (last years model I purchased, to my dismay, right before the new one was released) fits even better. I tried on one of this years models in the same size and it fits the same, except the waist actually accommodates a wider range and it is noticeably more comfortable. The women's version of the Atmos is the Aura. So I will strongly endorse HikerJen's recommendation. The pack has received nothing but great reviews.

I agree as well. The Aura was my first pick but after going to a store and being properly fit, the Dueter was a much better fit and carried more balanced but at almost 6 lbs sheeesh, i am going back to try a lighter model shaving 1 1/2 lbs
