I got permission to escape my family for a quick overnighter. My brother-in-law and I had great weather and a great time at the Dolly Sods. I have done quite a bit of hiking in the southeast US and he has done quite a bit in the northeast US, we both agree that the Dolly Sods are unique and like nothing we have seen on the east coast. I highly recommend it, but you need at least a couple days to appreciate, plan accordingly Lots more pics here
