New Mexico Day Hike

There is a chance that I will be near Santa Fe for a few days in October. I'm wondering if someone can recommend a scenic day hike or two. I wish I could actually get a real hiking trip in but I think a day hike is the best I'll be able to do. I'm willing to drive 2 to 2.5 hours.

I think you could manage a long day hike in the pecos wilderness up to pecos baldy lake

Santa Fe is one of our favorite spots! Here are few of my favorite hikes just outside of Santa Fe:

Tsankawi Loop in Bandelier. The first time we hiked it we had some trouble finding the trailhead, although it's right off the main road. It's a short hike and has cave dwellings, petroglyphs, ladders, etc., and is just way cool:

Another is Tent Rocks - some amazing hoodoo formations and includes going through a short slot canyon.
