Review: Vasque Breeze GTX Hiking Boot

The hour was late as I stared into the cold glow of my computer screen, a shopping cart from a popular online shoe site starting back at me. I had my shipping address and card information entered, all I had to do was click the “Submit Order” button and the mailman would have a box for me in a few days. I almost couldn’t bring myself to do it. In my cart were a pair of Vasque Breeze Gore-Tex boots. They looked slick - And from everything I could tell seemed like a good choice in the world of waterproof boots. But as an avid minimal shoe convert, it was just against my mantra. Despite my conflict, I clicked the order button.

I have a pair of these boots and I absolutely love them. They can def be a bit warm for hot weather but the support and traction I get from these are wonderful. Have to say I have tested the waterproofness of these boots a few times and my feet have never been wet. Overall they are very high quality and and a comfortable boot for someone that likes the ankle protection over a trail runner type shoe.

No problem bkpackerb! With the cold and the snow we've had here lately, these have been my go-to footwear choice for nearly everything except trail running...They continue to hold up and are still working out really well. Definitely a great choice for situations where a lightweight boot is in order.
