Water is a fundamental part of nature photography and so are water reflections. Those beautiful mirror images in lakes and ponds add beauty, depth, and color to any photo. For a tack-sharp reflection head out in the morning when the wind is still; the warm morning light projected over cool water can also be interesting as the complementary warm and cool hues interact. If there is wind and the motion of water interrupts the reflection, try increasing your exposure time...
