New National Monument in Colorado designated yesterday:

Apparently I've driven by, but not seeing too much in the way of established hiking trails across the just under 22,000 acre monument, but rafting seems quite popular. Anyone been?

We took an all day rafting trip through the Browns Canyon this past summer. I did not have a water proof camera for the trip but we paid good money for some photos the outfitter took.

Rafting was a blast and if I had more time I would love to spend a few days exploring on foot and fishing. Saw people fishing all over on the Arkansas river. It supposed to be world class trout fishing. Maybe next time.

Looks like a fun trip Opi. I didn't know about the fishing, might have to check that out next time I'm in the area!
