Teton Crest Trail- Any hikers this season??

Anyone been on the TCT recently?  Is there any snow left on the trail?  Any suggestions that you can offer for a first time TCT hiker?

You could take the Jackson Hole tram up to the crest. Grab a shot of your favorite libation at the cafe at the top with one hell of a view. Then, head out to the TCT. Come down Paintbrush Canyon.  Check weather before going. It can be surprisingly cold up there. I got snowed on(4-5") during a July TCT thru-hike while heading through the aptly named Alaska Basin. This hike can be extended all the way to Grassy Lake Rd on the Yellowstone  NP Boundary or even into Y NP up the Bechler River Tr. That's what I did but in reverse on one TCT hike. Could throw a ferry trip in GT NP too to cap a TCT hike.
