Hi, I'm new here.  Quick question for anyone here who may know:

I am wondering if there are any services other than, or better yet - cheaper than, simply renting a car when visiting a new place.  I know that there are services that will take you to or pick you up from terminus points on the PCT and AT, but what about other hiker friendly areas.  For example if I were to visit "X" major city near a state or national park or forest, any ways of getting to and from great trailheads?
