In Herndon, VA and want to hike

Retired in December 2011 and am interested in hiking moderate hikes. Love to go on different trails and take pictures too.

Hey there! My fiancee and I are in the area. We've joined a few hiking groups from Meetup. They're pretty active. The Mid-Atlantic has several hikes each weekend all over the Mid Atlantic! Go figure! There's the Northern Virginia Hiking Club, Centerville hike, DC Hike, Alexandria hiking and walking or something like that. We've always had a good time when we join up with a group hike.
