I'm totally the person in meetings who cringes when the supervisor says, "Why don't we go around the room and say something about ourselves?"  But here I am, kinda doing the same thing! :)

I stumbled upon this site and I'm looking forward to seeing what's here. Seems like a good group of folks. I have been hiking for a few years but am just now getting into backpacking after moving from the Rust Belt to the Northwest (Oregon). Looking forward to learning from everyone!
