New Appalachian Trail Self-Supported Speed Record

Looks like Anish Heather Anderson has just set a new self-supported record for the fastest time to hike the Appalachian Trail at 54:7:48 -

As noted a FKT achievement is so much more to Heather than records. Heather's Ted talk demonstrates how she put her PCT record into  perspective of the greater overall lessons and achievements of overcoming challenges, forging her way, gaining a greater awareness, being in the moment,  and  grounded appreciation of aspects of herself much more significant than records. This is one of the most inspiring courageous comfort zone/societal norms challenging  Ted Talks on SUCCESS  I've ever been privileged to watch and hear. Enjoy. I did.
