Fishhook Creek - Sawtooth Mountains, Idaho

It was time to catch some aspens and jagged peaks before the snows move in. I followed Alpine Way up from Fishhook Creek just outside of Redfish Lake in Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains. I was lucky enough to catch the sun early in the morning and some dramatic clouds by afternoon. I love fall in the mountains. You start hiking in a jacket through frost and finish up in just your tee shirt.

Sweet!   The sawtooths have been on my list for some time.  This gives me another nudge!
