Just thought I'd introduce myself to the forum . . . I'm an avid backpacker and moved to Montana last year from Kentucky. I spent a lot of nights over the years in the Red River Gorge area of Kentucky, the Big South Fork in Tennessee, Great Smoky Mountains National Park in TN/NC, and the Joyce Kilmer-Slickrock Wilderness in North Carolina.  I fell in love with backpacking when I was in college and have made it a pretty big lifestyle priority since 2008.

I've spent a lot of time in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness during my first year in Montana, with a few trips to the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness, one trip to Glacier National Park, and some trips to nearby mountain ranges.

Here's a picture of me, in case anyone wanted to put a face with a name:

Looking forward to participating in this forum!
