Just coming back from my hike in the Ouachita national forrest and noticed other hikers having a hard time and hopefully i can help to make it easier.  I made a video and hope it helps.

Just a simple suggestion. Cork handles for trekking poles last longer and don't hold bacteria and dirt unlike the rubber counterparts.

I advise against rubber to begin with because they can easily cause some nasty blisters if you're not using gloves, which can suck in the middle of summer. I also think anyone who uses trekking poles should know how to use them. To many times I see people taking their trekking poles for a walk instead of using them to make their hike easier.
