I am a hiker and mountain biker in Santa Barbara, CA.  I am looking to start doing some overnight backpacking and bikepacking trips in the future. I figure this could be a great place to tap into some trail wisdom as well as share my own experiences.

Cool. I just spent 11 days working on trails in the SB backcountry. Check local conditions on hikelospadres.com.
