Hello from Kentucky!

I'm looking forward to reading the hiking reports here, and sharing my upcoming hikes.  I've got plans to hike Red River Gorge here in Kentucky and the Sipsey wilderness in Alabama hopefully before the end of the year.

I live in Lexington. My wife gave me permission for a quick overnight in the gorge this weekend, weather looks to be great, hoping for lots of stars.

A friend of mine lives in AL and hikes quite a bit in Sipsey, one of these days I am going to have to join him.

I hope you have a great time on your hike to the Gorge.  Be sure to take some pictures and post them here.  The Gorge is 3-4 hours away from me, so if I go it won't be a quick trip.
