Beehive Trail - Acadia National Park

A simple yet gorgeous hike up the face of Beehive in Acadia.  We lucked out and got the perfect fall day.  I even managed to get the family out this time around.

The Beehive trail ascends the face of Beehive (mountain, hill?, it's only 500ish feet high) winding around narrow cliffs and over the granite via a network of iron rungs.  Amazing bit of fun - you can't hike this loop without a perma-grin.

Happy Trails,

Yup, great tr that can be combined with others to make a very memorable fall experience. Liked the vid. Adventurous little out of the box hey?
