The Continental Divide Trail (CDT), called by some the crown jewel of America’s long trails, stretches across the United States between our borders with Canada and Mexico. For almost five months of 2012, I hiked the CDT, along with my partner, Darren. The trail begins in Glacier National Park and runs through Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. Along the way I painted watercolor landscapes representing the many different faces of the trail...
