Just came across this "TrialGroove" site and really impressed with the magizine series and the content and tips....especially for someone just getting back into wilderness hiking &camping over past 4 seasons. Lots of tips and personal experience stories i can learn from to. Planning to do whites with a friend in early Sept for a week...so getting excited already....love the outdoors and to disconnect from the busy day to day life. Cheers

When you say the Whites are you talking New Hampshire Whites if so they are great . I must say they don't know the word switchback when they want to go from point A to point B they go straight up but it's a great place to backpack.
