Hello everyone Yako here. 

Grew up In California until my High School years. Moved to Texas and never looked back. I have backpacked on several occasions growing up in Boy Scouts. As an adult I continue to enjoy the great outdoors. I love running, barefoot trail running for life! I have some pretty great survival skills and I plan to put them to the test next month when I will make my way up to El Paso. From there I plan to enter New Mexico and do a thru hike of the CDT.
