After climbing to the top and taking in the amazing views at 6643 feet, I wanted to get to one of the white blaze marks on the Appalachian Trail and see what the trail looked like. At this point the trail was very wet and muddy and at about a foot wide, was filled with rocks and ice. It was a great day and I was able to mark off a couple things from my Smoky Mountains must see list. Someday I may actually spend more time than ten minutes on the AT, but that’s another adventure altogether...
