Off-line digital topo maps for outside USA

Does anyone know a good place to get downloadable topo maps, preferably for use with a GPS enabled iPad app, for Europe? Is there a European Gaia app? I haven't found one.

I have Gaia on an iPhone and just took a look - Have you tried the "World Topo" map layer yet by chance? Was just able to load topos for a few random European spots and looks like the maps can be saved for offline use as well.

Thanks - someone told me that Gaia had no foreign maps. Guess I need to check my sources

I have been using both MemoryMap and Viewranger. The former is PC basedapplication, the latter an free app that is available for both Android and iOS.

View ranger lets you buy maps for most of the world and is accessible both from your device and from the Viewranger website.
