Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument

Looks like another national monument will be designated today. I personally think its a good thing, and i hope that it will help protect the land for recreational activities.

Thanks for the info and link to the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument. I've driven by the area, but never hiked or backpacked there. I'd love to see a TrailGroove member write an article and get some epic photos. I love the desert environment.
