Hello from the southwestern part of the Hoosier state

Greetings from the Hoosier state! Name is Preston and I live in the SW part of the state about an hour from the Hoosier National Forest and enjoy hiking & camping there and in other parks/forests of the state. Not only do I enjoy hiking & camping but also like to kayak the local rivers, streams and lakes. I also enjoy traveling to other parts of the country and world. I have spent a lot of time hiking in the Appalachians and some in the Rockies. As far as hiking/camping is concerned my friend and I have gone camping at least once a month every month since April of 2013; this is when I made the transition from day hiking to backpacking and what a ride this has been.
