On the morning of October 20 of this year (2014) I went to the Columbia Mine Preserve on the Patoka River NWR for a quick jaunt on a trail that is near and dear to me, I helped lay it out and build it; Indian Hill Trail. Indian Hill trail is located in Pike County Indiana and passes around two lakes, Paddlefish Pond and Indian Hill Lake, it passes through a prairie setting, woods and along the old channel of the Patoka River. The trail is only about 1.5 miles in length but it has a lot to offer; I'll let the pictures speak for it.
