Hey everyone. I am Jarrett and I'm from south Texas. I like to get out and do all sorts of outdoor activities with my dog BeeGee. However, I mostly mountain bike and hike. The forum looks amazing and I hope to learn and share my knowledge with my fellow hikers.

Texas, ooo. I've been toying with the idea of visiting the Guadalupe Mountains. I saw pictures in Backpacker mag and can't get out of my head.

Nice to meet you too BrandyO. I would also love to get back to the Guadalupe Mountains. Its a beautiful area, but Texas is huge and its such a long drive to make it out that way.
