New to site but an avid hiker. Have logged close to 1000 miles of walking and hiking this year. Bought a Cricket trailer this summer and have camped 30 days since mid-July. An experienced camera artist, take two cameras wherever I go. Love living in Colorado as it's a central hub for many road adventures and hiking trails.

Greetings from Texas. That is a lot of mileage for this year. I'd like to get close to that next year. Also, your Cricket trailer looks nice. I bet that helps a lot getting out on adventures.

I've been following the cricket trailers since they came out and i think they're pretty awesome for usability and size, although if i had the money for a camper of some sort, it would probably be an Ursa Minor modified Element or Jeep.

That second photo is amazing. Care to share what camera/lens you used, and if you used any special tricks (layering, etc) to get that shot?

I used a Canon EOS 5D Mark II with a 17-35mm lens. ISO at 3200, 30 second exposure wide open at 2.8. No special tricks, it's a long exposure for star photography. Cricket is illuminated from inside.

We love the Cricket and the fact we can tow it with our Toyota RAV4 and keep it stored in our garage at home. It sets up in a minute when we pull into camp. Oh the places we will go with our Cricket in tow!
